Poster Boy – beautifully bastardizing New Yorks’ Posters

6 Feb

Poster Boy is a notorious street artist that goes around the subways of New York manipulating posters to highlight the photoshopped nature of their imagery. All with little more than a razor blade.

A manifesto from Poster Boy’s Flickr page…

Eventually I will stop this art form. By that time I hope that I’ve inspired enough people where I don’t have to participate in order to see the change that is “needed”. I always encourage people to take matters into their own hands. So pick up a razor and reclaim your visual territory.

He’s been labelled “a rare breed of visual revolutionary” – judge the work for yourself.

I like the first two but it’s hardly revolutionary, is it? 🙂
